The figures furnished to my Department by creameries and dairies show that deliveries to milk plants in the period 2 April to 31 December 1984 amounted to 996 million gallons. This represents an increase of approximately 3.1 per cent over the deliveries for the corresponding period of 1983. The figure for deliveries in 1983 is based on the co-responsibility returns for that period but the 1984 co-responsibility returns are only available up to end November as a number of returns for the month of December are still outstanding.
