There has been no prolonged delay on the part of the Office of Public Works in preparing sketch plans for the proposed extension to Piltown national school, County Kilkenny. Following inspection of the site the Office of Public Works were not advised of the availability of the required site extension until March 1984 or of the final accommodation brief until October 1984. The preparation of the sketch plans is in hands and it is expected that they will be completed in about six to eight weeks' time when they will be sent to the Department of Education for approval.
