Vol. 356 No. 6

Written Answers. - Donegal Town Sewerage Scheme.

440.

Mr. Coughlan

asked the Minister for Communications whether an application for a licence has been made by Donegal County Council in relation to construction works below the high water mark in connection with the proposed sewerage scheme at Donegal town, and, if so, the present position regarding the issue of the licence.

An application was received on 14 August 1984 from Donegal County Council for permission under the Foreshore Act, 1933 to carry out works on the foreshore of the River Eske at Donegal town in connection with the main drainage scheme. Consultation with the various interests concerned is still in progress and a decision will be made on the application as soon as possible.
