The person named will be paid calf premium and also beef cow grants under the 1984 disadvantaged areas schemes, less an amount previously overpaid, when the batches which include his payments are processed in due course.
He is not eligible for 1984 calved heifer grants because the total number of cows and heifers in his herd at inspection did not exceed his basic herd number. A decision on whether or not he is eligible for 1984 EC suckler cow premium will be made as soon as a comparison between his off-farm and on-farm incomes is completed.
