The contract for the extension to Blarney boys' national school is between the Reverend Manager and the main contractor. The supervision of the building work is in the hands of a private architect employed by the Reverend Manager.
The architect informed the Commissioners of Public Works in February 1985 that the main contractor had ceased work on the site but that all necessary steps are being taken to ensure that the building work will be completed within a reasonable time.
