I wish to raise on the Adjournment the efforts being made to resolve the dispute between the Minister for Social Welfare and the POWU in regard to non-delivery of social welfare cheques.
Will the Deputy look at the files and see how I dealt with a similar situation? I made sure the cheques were delivered because I cared for the old people.

I wish to raise on the Adjournment the problem of post-primary schools in which there is not adequate accommodation available to take the increasing numbers of pupils in the school year 1985-86.
When will the Finance Bill be published?
Early in April.
Is the Minister aware of a statement by the Taoiseach that the date for the local elections would be announced when the report of the Commission on Electoral Boundaries would be published and when the necessary Bill had been published? All of these things have happened but the date has not been announced.
The House will be informed as soon as possible.
