asked the Minister for Labour how the social employment scheme allocations were allotted throughout the country; and if this was done on a first come first served basis.
Written Answers. - Social Employment Scheme.
644.
A sum of £29.510 million has been allocated in the Estimate of the Department of Labour to meet costs arising nationally from implementing the social employment scheme in the present year. It is expected that this amount will be sufficient to meet commitments arising from the scheme and that allocations to specific areas will not be necessary.
