asked the Minister for Labour if he is satisfied with the Projects Approval Committee in Cork city and county; and if he agrees that decisions of the committee should be reached by a majority decision.
I propose to take Questions Nos. 569 and 570 together.
I am satisfied that the difficulties which caused delays in approving projects under the community youth training programme in the Cork area have been overcome.
The support of the social partners has contributed greatly to the success of the programme over the years and I am satisfied that a consensus approach to project approval is the best way of proceeding.
