Since the introduction in March 1984 of the revised scheme of financial assistance for voluntary housing organisations eight local authorities have submitted proposals for 11 projects involving 73 units of accommodation. Three projects involving 13 units have been completed. In the remaining cases construction work is in progress or the projects are at planning stage.
