The builder who had been selected for the proposed extension to Freshford national school, County Kilkenny, is not now in a position to proceed with the contract. The remaining tenders are being considered as a matter of urgency with a view to the appointment of another contractor. It is not possible to say exactly when building work will commence but every effort will be made to place the contract at the earliest possible date.
