As a grant was paid in respect of this house under a group water supply scheme in 1980 the application in question had to be refused. This is because a period of ten years must elapse, in accordance with the provisions of the Housing (Improvement Grants) Regulations, 1983, from the date of payment of any previous water grant in respect of the house before payment of a further such grant under the house improvement scheme can be considered. The applicant has been informed accordingly.
