(Limerick West) asked the Minister for Labour the reason for the delay in approving an application for an enterprise allowance in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Limerick.

Completed papers in respect of an application for a lump sum payment under the enterprise allowance scheme were received from the person in question on 7 May 1985. The application was considered by the capitalisation advisory committee on 4 June 1985 and further information in relation to the project was requested. I shall notify the Deputy of the outcome of the application as soon as possible.
