The Youth Employment Agency is in the process of recruiting directors for an initial period of two years to head up the Pilot COMTECs (Community Managed Training and Employment Consortia) to be established in eight locations around the country over the next nine months.
The persons appointed as directors of COMTECs will be familiar with the objectives, nature, scale and funding of manpower and education programmes and are therefore more likely to be already working in the public service.
