Prior to 1972 expenditure on fishery harbour development was met from the Vote for the Office of Public Works. Accordingly, it would not be appropriate for my Department to provide details of expenditure for those years. Expenditure from the Vote for Fisheries in the years 1972 to 31 March 1985 amounted to £1,336,238, and was allocated as follows:
