Vol. 361 No. 11

Written Answers. - Mooring Licence.

32.

asked the Minister for Finance if he is aware that a person (details supplied) in County Dublin had a mooring for 13 years on the west pier site mooring in Dún Laoghaire harbour, and is now being informed that he requires a licence for the mooring; and if he will ensure that he receives a mooring, which has been in his possession and the possession of his family over many years.

Permission to lay down and maintain a mooring in Dún Laoghaire harbour is granted by the Commissioners of Public Works by means of a licence which requires the licensee to pay an annual fee. The person in question is not and has not been at any time a licensee of the commissioners. His application for a licence is under consideration.
