A grant cannot be paid in this case because, contrary to a statutory condition of the scheme, the work had commenced before an inspection of the house was carried out.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a further inspection will be carried out to the house of persons (details supplied) in County Louth with a view to allocation of a new house grant.
A further inspection of the house was carried out recently and the grant will be paid as soon as possible.
