Limerick East): I would refer the Deputy to the reply to a similar question (No. 74) by the Minister for Communications in which he stated that Radio Telefís Éireann are currently considering how best the interference problems can be overcome. Discussions are taking place between the Radio Telefís Éireann and the Garda authorities in this connection. I wish to make it clear that the radio equipment and transmission channels being used by the Garda meet with the approval of the appropriate licencing authority.
