I am informed by Shannon Development Company that there are two small factory units in Kilkee, one of 5,000 square feet and one of 7,500 square feet. These factories are being actively promoted for indigenous small industry by SFADCo. and for overseas small projects by IDA. The latter is, in fact, at an advanced state in negotiations with an overseas firm for the establishment of a project in the smaller factory.
