My Department has agreed in principle to grant aid the provision of an additional classroom for the County Mayo national school referred to. A feasibility study having indicated that the school site is under the area required for the extended building, the school authorities have offered a site extension for the project and my Department's professional advisers have been asked to inspect it for suitability. The outcome will be conveyed to the school authorities as soon as possible.
