An application for assistance under the capital grant scheme for the provision of community and recreational facilities has not been received by my Department from the Cranmore community centre committee.
I understand, however, that the project concerned is included in an application submitted by Sligo Corporation to the Department of the Environment for grant assistance from the additional £5 million to be made available by the Government in 1986 for the provision of facilities in areas of greatest social need.
