asked the Minister for Industry, Trade Commerce and Tourism the area and location of land in the ownership of the IDA in County Roscommon and his proposals, if any, for the development of these lands.

49.

asked the Minister for Industry, Trade, Commerce and Tourism the number and location of industrial jobs in County Roscommon at end of November 1982 and November 1985.

50.

asked the Minister for Industry, Trade, Commerce and Tourism the location and area of vacant industrial buildings in the ownership of the IDA throughout County Roscommon and the proposed action, if any, to attract industry to the county.

I propose to take Questions Nos. 48, 49 and 50 together.

The Industrial Development Authority's annual employment survey shows that there were 2,557 people employed in manufacturing in County Roscommon at November 1982. The corresponding figure for 1984 is 2,252. Details are not yet available for 1985. An employment breakdown within County Roscommon is not readily available. The detailed information requested by the Deputy in regard to buildings and land in County Roscommon is set out in the tabular statement as follows:
