Statistics are not maintained in a manner which would enable the information requested by the Deputy to be supplied.
Figures supplied by the health boards show total expenditure on rent supplements in the last week of March 1985 and the corresponding number of recipients to be £64,677 and 5,255 respectively. A breakdown of these figures between the health boards is as follows:
