I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that a review of the liabilities in this case for the years 1983-84 and 1984-85 has been carried out and a cheque in settlement of the overpayments which emerged as a result of the reviews will be issued to the taxpayer as soon as possible.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will request the inspector of taxes, Limerick No. 1 district to issue a tax rebate to a person (details supplied) in County Offaly.
I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that the taxpayer ceased employment on 4 October 1985. On 29 October 1985 a claim for repayment of tax on the grounds of unemployment was submitted by the taxpayer to the inspector of taxes. The claim has been processed and a cheque in settlement of the refund due will be issued to the taxpayer as soon as possible.
