Vol. 362 No. 13

Written Answers. - Ballymacarbery (Waterford) Garda Station.

169.

asked the Minister for Justice the reason for the reduction in the number of gardaí on duty at Ballymacarbery Garda Station, County Waterford.

Limerick East): The detailed deployment of Garda manpower is a matter for the Garda authorities who have informed me that Garda strength at Ballymacarbery was reduced to one sergeant and one garda on 21 November following the transfer of a member of Garda rank. I am informed that it is the intention to fill the resultant vacancy as soon as circumstances permit.
