asked the Minister for Finance the number of investors who have qualified for tax relief up to £25,000 in unquoted manufacturing and other service companies, under the Finance Act, 1984; and the total sum which to date has been exempted.
I propose to take Questions Nos. 149 and 150 together. I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that 570 investors have qualified to date for tax relief under Chapter III of Part I of the Finance Act, 1984, and that the amount invested which has so far qualified for the relief is £4.95 million.
