I am advised by the Revenue Commissioners that the yield from residential property tax was £2.08 million in 1985. The estimated yield in 1986 is £2 million. The number of persons who paid residential property tax in 1985 was 1,086 in respect of the valuation date 5 April 1983, 2,821 in respect of the valuation date 5 April 1984 and 3,540 in respect of the valuation date 5 April 1985.
