asked the Minister for Finance the amount of income tax paid to date and the number of taxpayers in respect of each of the following income bands in 1984 and 1985 respectively: (a) over £50,000 per annum; (b) between £30,000 and £50,000; (c) between £25,000 and £30,000; (d) between £20,000 and £25,000; (e) between £15,000 and £20,000; (f) between £12,000 and £15,000; (g) between £10,000 and £12,000; (h) between £8,000 and £10,000 and (i) under £8,000.
