Limerick East): The Civil Service Commissioners, on behalf of my Department, advertised recruitment competitions on 8 January 1986 for prison staff, both prison officers and trades officers. Application forms may be obtained from the Civil Service Commission, 1 Lower Grand Canal Street, Dublin 2 and completed forms must be forwarded so as to reach the commission not later than 5.30 p.m. on 30 January 1986. I understand that appointments are likely to be made from the competitions from about May next.
