Statistics relating to the social employment scheme and the employment incentive scheme are compiled on the basis of National Manpower Service regions only. Details on a county basis are not available at present. In the mid-west region of the NMS which encompasses counties Limerick, Clare and Tipperary (North Riding) there are currently 446 persons employed on 120 projects under the social employment scheme and approximately 300 persons employed under the employment incentive scheme.
