AnCO mounted about 700 external training courses in 1985, the total number trained on these courses was 9,731. I am having a list of the courses and organisers prepared and will send it to the Deputy.
A total of £10.5 million was paid to external trainers in 1985 out of which instructor, training materials, equipment, accommodation and administrative costs have to be met.
As regards the fees paid by AnCO for externally contracted courses, it is not the practice of my Department to divulge details of the amount of fees paid to individual contractors.
