asked the Minister for the Environment when the remaining instalment of a house improvement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Wexford.
Payment of grant in this case is being deferred until it is established that, in accordance with a statutory condition of the scheme, the house is intended for use as a normal place of residence. The applicant was requested, on 19 December 1985, to clarify the position and his reply is awaited.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a new house grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Monaghan.
A grant will be paid when an inspection establishes that the house has been satisfactorily completed and occupied and that all the conditions of the grant scheme have been fulfilled. An inspector called recently but was unable to get access to the house. A further inspection by appointment, will be carried out as soon as possible.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason a window replacement grant has been refused to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny.
A grant paid to the person named in 1982 was incorrectly related to the house for which a grant was sought in November last. In the circumstances arrangements are now being made for an early inspection with a view to approval of the grant.

asked the Minister for the Environment when payment will be made to persons (details supplied) in County Kilkenny for an extension built onto an old farmhouse applied for in 1983.
There is no record of the receipt in my Department of an application from the persons named.

asked the Minister for the Environment when an inspector will call out to a person (details supplied) in County Offaly who is awaiting an inspection of the work to be done by him for the purpose of obtaining a house improvement grant.
An inspection will be arranged as soon as possible with a view to payment of the grant.
