My Department is the authority for purchasing agricultural products for intervention storage under EC arrangements.

(Limerick West) asked the Minister for Agriculture the total values of exported products, excluding equine, originating from the agricultural sector for each year from 1973 to date; and the value of those products sold into intervention, including casein and cream liqueurs.
Official data on agricultural exports includes the value of intervention products stored abroad but does not include the value of casein and cream liqueurs export. Official data on the total value of agricultural exports is not published in a format that excludes equines.
