asked the Minister for Defence the up-to-date position on the application for a disability pension by a person (details supplied) in County Limerick.
Written Answers. - Army Pension.
79.
All the evidence submitted by the person referred to by the Deputy has been examined by the Army pensions board, which is the statutory body appointed to report on claims for disability pensions by former members of the Permanent Defence Force. On the basis of the evidence furnished the board found that the applicant did not satisfy the conditions for the award of a pension. As the findings of the board are final and conclusive, I regret that I have no authority to award a pension in this case.
