Provision for a new employment exchange catering for both men and women has been made by the Office of Public Works in its plans for the construction of Government offices at Old Callan Road, Kilkenny.
Following the opening early last year of a temporary employment exchange for women at Old Callan Road, congestion problems which had affected both the public and the staff at the employment exchange in the Military Barracks have been eased considerably.
