An application for the provision of an extension to St. Joseph's secondary school, Kilmallock, has been received in my Department. This application is under consideration at present, due regard being had to paragraph 5.12 of "Programme for Action in Education 1984-1987" which stipulates that: "Discussions will be initiated... to ensure maximum amount of co-ordination and integration... all future proposed (building) projects will be examined... to determine the practicability of integration or, alternatively, co-ordination of facilities".
