I have indicated that I am prepared to offer the consultants a site on the Beaumont Hospital complex on which they can construct private medical consulting rooms. A draft lease has been prepared and has been forwarded to the Irish Medical Organisation and I am awaiting their response. The Deputy will appreciate that in the circumstances I am not yet in a position to give a firm date for opening the hospital. However, it is my intention that Beaumont Hospital will be opened as soon as possible.
