Vol. 364 No. 1

Written Answers. - Wexford School Survey.

211.

asked the Minister for Education if he will release the results of the survey carried out in the Duncannon area, County Wexford, relating to the justification of building a new school; when the school will be commenced; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

On the basis of a review of enrolments at Duncannon national school, County Wexford, which has now been concluded, it has been decided that a new fourclassroomed school should be provided. Arrangements are in hands to place the contract for the project. I am not in a position to say precisely when work will commence. I can however assure the Deputy that the contract will be placed at an early date.
