There is no record of the receipt in my Department of a proposal from Limerick Corporation concerning the purchase of shops in the Edward Street area. The corporation have, however, submitted proposals for the sale of residential shops in a number of areas. These proposals are at present being examined in my Department and I hope to make a decision shortly in the matter.
