It is not the practice to disclose the amount of commercial rents payable in respect of individual properties and, for sound commerical reasons, it would not be in the public interest to do so.
The area of office and storage space occupied by the Department of the Environment in the building is 57,050 square feet.
The various sections of the Department occupying the space are: road and traffic division; housing division; sanitary services division; finance (departmental); planning administration (including compulsory purchase); and a Minister of State's office.
