Vol. 364 No. 3

Written Answers. - Tax Rebate.

39.

asked the Minister for Finance the up-to-date position concerning income tax allowances for a person (details supplied) in Dublin 24; and the reasons the person concerned is not being allowed a tax rebate.

I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioner that an amended certificate of tax-free allowances, incorporating all the allowances and reliefs to which the taxpayer is entitled for the current year, 1985-86, has now been issued.

Any tax which has been over-deducted since 6 April last will be refunded to the tax payer by his employer when the amended certificate is put into operation.
