On receipt by my Department of written confirmation by the applicant that she wishes to withdraw her application under the 1985 scheme, payment of the grant under the 1981 scheme will be made as quickly as possible.

asked the Minister for the Environment if an inspection in respect of the house improvement grant application of a person (details supplied) in County Wexford will be carried out on a revised basis instead of issuing a refusal.
In view of the additional works which the applicant now proposes to carry out a further inspection will be carried out as soon as possible with a view to approval of a grant.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a person (details supplied) in County Clare will be paid his new house grant.
The grant will be paid when an inspection establishes that the house has been satisfactorily completed and occupied and all the conditions of the grant scheme have been fulfilled. The file in this case is at present with my Department's inspector for a report.
