The need for a prior inspection in this case has been dispensed with in accordance with the Minister's recent announcement and a letter has issued to the applicant authorising him to proceed with the work subject to the requirements (other than the prior inspection) applicable when he applied for the grant.

There is no record of the receipt in the Department of an application for a house improvement grant from the person named.
