Out of a total grant of £27,200 approved in 1985 for the St. Bridget's community action project, a balance of £7,072 remained available for issue in 1986, of which £5,100 has been paid to date. The amount of grant approved was on the basis that the project would be completed in May 1986 and, unfortunately, because of the very heavy level of commitments under the grants scheme as a whole, it will not be possible to provide any further assistance for a continuation of the project.
