Vol. 365 No. 2

Written Answers. - AnCO Prototype Development Courses.

46.

asked the Minister for Labour if he will reconsider, as a matter of extreme urgency, the funding of individual participants in AnCO prototype development courses who are over 25 years old; if he would consider it more appropriate to fund similar future cases rather than terminate existing approvals for participants to those courses; if he will particularly reconsider payments for a person (details supplied) in County Wexford in view of the enormous potential of the small business projects he is presently working on.

AnCO has not terminated the training allowance of the person in question. He is still participating on his prototype development course and receiving his training allowance. He will continue to do so for a further six weeks when he and his two partners hope to commence their business. Subject to the availability of finances, AnCO will continue to provide prototype development courses.
