The schemes under which my Department supplies film strips to schools is designed to assist teachers to implement the nua chursaí Gaeilge. The out of stock material is now on order and supply is expected to be available again to schools before the commencement of the next school year. In relation to the information in the reply of 4 March 1986, it was not possible to be more precise at that time.
This school has received two grants towards the purchase of equipment but it was not possible to meet its applications in this connection in 1984 and 1985.
