I understand that Louth County Council are at present preparing contract documents for the Aclint Bridge scheme and that these will be submitted to my Department in the near future. There will be no avoidable delay on the part of the Department in giving a decision on the documents. Subject to the satisfactory conclusion of contract procedures, the local authority anticipates that work should commence on the bridge in September 1986.
