I am at present considering an application from Cork County Council for the making of a prohibitory order in respect of an area of seashore between the estuary of the River Ilen and the county boundary between Cork and Kerry at Ardgroom which approximates to the area referred to in the Deputy's question and I will make a decision in the matter as soon as my Department's investigation of the proposal has been completed. The making of any order will be subject to the county council accepting responsibility for enforcement.
