I have proposals from local interests for the development of Valentia Harbour. However, up to recently there was disagreement locally as to which of three harbours in the area in close proximity to each other should be developed.
I understand that there is now a degree of local agreement as to which harbour should be developed and I am arranging for my Department's area engineer to discuss the matter with local interests.
