Three statutory bodies for which I have responsibility submit to me their annual accounts audited by the Comptroller and Auditor General, together with an annual report of their activities. These reports are laid before each House of the Oireachtas.
The independently certified accounts and annual reports of two other bodies (which were set up under the Companies Act) are also submitted to me. I am satisfied that these procedures are satisfactory by reference to modern accounting and reporting practices.
