There has been no avoidable delay in dealing with the group's proposals which are dependent on a water supply from zone 3 of the mid-Galway regional water supply scheme. Revised proposals for the latter, which were submitted by Galway County Council to my Department on 16 April 1986 are being examined. The group's proposals will be considered further in the light of developments in relation to the regional scheme.
